I started one2one lessons with Jessica 5 years ago. Her warm encouragement and support gave me the confidence to join a local ukulele group, so she got this isolated and grumpy retiree out of his shell, and I'll always be grateful for that - I still attend. Her good humour and obvious enjoyment of music teaching, is infectious, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I joined one of Jessica's groups during lockdown to help me carry on playing ukulele. Living some distance away, a good Zoom ability has been very important to do this. Jessica has provided Zoom sessions without any problems, and has ensured that sound and vision quality are acceptable to everybody.

I enjoy playing in the groups as there is an excellent range of songs from all styles and ages. Jessica ensures that the arrangements work on the ukulele, and demonstrates how they should sound. There is always something new to learn in the songs, as well as some which are less challenging and allow relaxed playing.

I joined Jessica's Ukulele Zoom group during lockdown and in addition her Grade 1 Ukulele tutor group. Although I am quite an experienced player I learned a great deal in the way of technique and performance. I have spoken to a number of Jessica's other pupils and all agree what an excellent teacher she is, patient, approachable and knowledgeable.
