About Jasmine
I am a graduate of the both the University of Oxford and the University of York, with a BA in English and Related Literature from York and an FCert in English Language and Literature from Oxford.
I have been working as a tutor for 10 years, mainly focusing on teaching English as a Foreign Language. In addition to my native English, I speak German and some basic French and Korean.
I have taught people of all ages, from preschool right through to adulthood, both individually and in groups.

My teaching method is based on Montessori teaching: I try to let the students lead the class as much as possible. I usually do this by giving them a choice of activities so that they feel in control and confident about the activities.
I focus on positive reinforcement and usually only draw my students' attention to 1 or 2 areas for improvement in their work at a time. This makes the students feel successful as they are not overwhelmed by criticism and their workload seems manageable.

Jasmine has taught both my younger daughter and nephew English. She makes lessons fun and engaging so that they wanted to take part. Details
I offer discounts if booking multiple hours in a row, offering a £5 per hour discount on subsequent hours (e.g. a lesson that is 1 hour will cost £30, but a lesson that is 2 hours will only cost £55).
I also offer group bookings at a discounted rate, with the first student paying the full price and each additional student being £10 extra (e.g. a lesson with 1 student will be £30 per hour, a lesson with 2 students will be £40 per hour, etc.).
