About Ruth

I have been a classroom teacher of French, German and Spanish for twenty years in private and state schools, worked as a Head of Year, Most Gifted and Talented Co ordinator and in the last ten years as Head of Department in a Catholic School. I love teaching and seeing the confidence boost that private tuition makes to a student. I am hugely enthusiastic about my subject and can’t wait to see you excel and achieve as a result of the lessons with me.

About the lesson

I love being able to see the difference that private tuition makes to the confidence level of a student who needs a boost with the subject and to see how their results and classroom study improves as a result of either one to one or small group work. I look forward to seeing you fulfil your potential with me and improve your academic success. I have been examining with AQA for the last 15 years too, which stands me in excellent stead for ensuring the very best outcomes for you! I know exactly the challenges students face in the modern day classroom as I am there too every day as a Head of Dept and can tailor my sessions exactly to suit your needs.
