About Ryan
Having initially studied PPE at the University of Oxford, I subsequently studied law, obtaining distinctions in both the PGDL and the Barrister Training Course (BTC), before completing the UCL Laws LLM. I am a non-practising Barrister who has specialised in criminal law, jurisprudence and constitutional law and I now particularly enjoy teaching and sharing my interest in law with new students. I also enjoy tutoring students who are interested in engaging in competitive debating as well as pupils interested in improving their public speaking generally. I provide detailed preparation for the LNAT university law admission test and greatly enjoy assisting students to prepare their university applications and for admission interviews.

I met Ryan when he was still an undergraduate at Oxford. Since then, I have seen him speak to a variety of audiences, both in academic settings and beyond.
Ryan can capture the most difficult and far-reaching ideas so clearly that his interlocutors will be able to pursue these ideas further together with him. He is the rare teacher who can actually teach his students how to think more clearly.Having graduated from Oxford, Ryan is extremely knowledgeable in philosophy. His passion, patience and friendly approach make him one of the best teachers I have ever encountered. I highly recommend him!
Ryan co-founded the Oxford University Philosophy Society and showed great talent for making philosophy accessible to a broad audience from different backgrounds. His passion for philosophy is infectious! He has a brilliantly sharp mind. It is a pleasure to learn about philosophy from him!
Ryan is a dedicated and professional tutor who is passionate and very knowledgeable about philosophy and jurisprudence.
