About Sam
I am an undergraduate student in a degree in Ancient and Modern History at Oxford. I did A-Levels in History, Ancient History, and Classical Civilisation, and provided study assistance and revision help for other students on my courses. As part of this, I developed revision resources for people to use and also looked over and gave feedback on people's essays.

I give lessons on topics that students request themselves; my usual approach is to ask them to send me a piece of work they already submitted for their GCSE or A-Level class. I start by going through the essay itself and drawing out points the student already knows before adding to what they have written and putting the topic within the context of the exam's subject. Alongside this, I advise students on how to better construct an essay and may bring in a related piece of source material to aid in framing topics around exam questions while building up necessary history skills.

Rate for GCSE students is £10 an hour, the £15 rate is for A-Level students. Feel free to cancel a lesson and reschedule it at no extra charge.
