About Benjamin
My name is Benjamin and I am 21 years old. I am from Vancouver Canada and am currently a undergraduate student (studying literature and writing) at the University of Oxford. I am working on writing my second novel right now and plan on publishing it in 2022. Before studying at Oxford, I went to UBC in Canada where I studied neuroscience. I switched to studying writing because I believe the written word to be highly valuable and because writing is the thing that I am most passionate about.

Many people throughout history have marvelled at the power of the well-crafted written word. It is the basis for everything from legal systems and standardised practices to many forms of art. But, despite how useful it is, good writing it is not a skill that many people have. Ever struggled to articulate your thoughts in writing? I think we all have at one time or another. Sometimes all we need too get out of a slump is a second pair of eyes to help us see what we've done well and what we need to improve. Other times, there is a more fundamental building block missing that needs to be addressed and remedied. Either way, my training in writing - both academically and creatively - puts me in the perfect position to help address these issues and find the weak points and the strong points. In my lessons I will help you play to your strengths as well as address your weaknesses. If you are in high school (or really any age) and want help improving your writing, I can help you.
