About Aamina
I'm Aamina, a Maths and Computer Science student at St. John's College, Oxford. I achieved a 1st in my 1st year exams, and I'm also the course rep for Maths and CS for the whole university. I've been tutoring for the last 3 years, both privately and at a Kumon centre, which means I am well equipped to adapt my teaching style based upon your individual needs. I really enjoy the subjects I teach, and I hope to pass this enthusiasm onto you!

My lessons are based on really understanding the theory behind the topic rather than only focusing on particular questions, as once the underlying principles are clear, even the trickiest questions will become much more doable. Lessons are generally 1 hour long, as I find multiple shorter lessons are better than one long one for focus.
I offer Maths and Physics tutoring based on the National Curriculum for students in Year 7 all the way to A level. I also offer Oxbridge admissions preparation sessions for quantitative subjects, including personal statement advice, entrance exam tutoring (MAT, PAT, STEP, TSA & TMUA) and mock interviews.

Aamina has taught me mathematics in the past and she was a fantastic and engaging teacher, always explaining things in a clear way yet also challenging me to push myself and try to solve problems that I initially struggled with. She has helped me to achieve great results in my exams and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a friendly and fabulous teacher.
