About Joy
I have recently graduated from Oxford University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Preclinical Medical Sciences, and am currently completing the clinical portion of the course in order to become a medical doctor. I have studied Biology, Chemistry, Maths and French A-levels, achieving 2A*s and 2As.
I have extensive experience in tutoring in Maths and Science, both at A-level and GCSE levels. This has allowed me to refine my teaching techniques over the years and develop good communication skills with students. I am also experienced in teaching GCSE English, and can also provide tutoring in this subject.

I take a personalised approach to teaching. Each student has different strengths and different needs; my teaching style adapts accordingly. I believe that each person benefits from a tailored approach, which may be difficult to accommodate in a large classroom setting. Therefore, I like to spend at least the first lesson getting to know the student to determine their preferred learning style, thus the most beneficial teaching method for them.
