About Chu

Hi! I am a passionate engineering student who specializes in teaching SPM Modern Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. I understand firsthand how daunting complex formulas and abstract numbers can seem, but I strongly believe that with the right framework, any student can master math.

My academic foundation is built on consistent results: scoring 10As in SPM, achieving a 4.0 CGPA in Matriculation, and maintaining top academic performance in university with a 4.0 GPA in my most recent semester finals along with an A+ in Engineering Mathematics.

My approach focuses on deconstructing heavy concepts into simple, intuitive steps rather than forcing rote memorization. Together, we will tackle past-year questions systematically, pinpoint common pitfalls, and build the confidence and problem-solving mindset needed to ace your SPM exams.

About the lesson

-1-on-1 personalized tutoring tailored to your learning pace

-Step-by-step guidance to simplify tough SPM Math & Add Maths topics

-Exam-focused techniques and past-year question drills

-Concept mastery without relying on rote memorization

-Flexible lesson scheduling

Whether you need help with weak foundations or want to secure an A+, I am here to make maths clear and manageable. Let's reach your target grades together!

Perfect! Chu is a really great and patient tutor! Before this, I used to struggle a lot with SPM math topics, but he explains everything step-by-step until I actually get the concept instead of just blindly memorising formulas. He teaches very practical methods to tackle past year and exam questions easily. Classes never feel rushed and he always makes sure I understand before moving on. Really helped boost my confidence for SPM!

James struggled with the basics at first, but he worked hard and has improved a lot. His foundation is much stronger now, and he can solve questions more independently. He just needs to stay consistent with past-paper practice!

Chu has always excelled in Maths and has used his advantage by helping tutor others along the way. He has a strong understanding of the basic concepts and explains them clearly and patiently. He has helped me out a lot throughout the years, and I'm pretty sure he's more than qualified to help out anyone who needs a better grasp of Maths!

I highly recommend Chu as a Maths tutor. He is patient, approachable, and explains concepts clearly in a way that makes even difficult topics much easier to understand. I really appreciate how he takes the time to go through questions step by step and makes sure I understand the reasoning behind each solution instead of simply memorising formulas.

What I like most about his teaching style is that he is willing to explain things in different ways whenever I am struggling with a particular concept. He also encourages me to think through problems independently, which has helped me become more confident and improve my problem-solving skills. His lessons are always productive, engaging, and easy to follow.

Overall, Chu is a dedicated and supportive tutor who genuinely cares about his students’ progress. I have had a great experience learning with him and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and effective Maths tutor.
