I'm passionate about teaching and can't wait to begin!

In the summer of 2019, Ibrahim Amin worked as one of the staff members on my team at an Oxford summer school. Whilst Ibrahim’s roles were diverse, a significant portion of his time teaching our students.

Ibrahim taught Medicine, general science and business classes - using his experience and knowledge from both his medicine and business degrees.

For every session, Ibrahim prepared well before hand - both consolidating his knowledge and developing resources and learning material.

I observed Ibrahim in the sessions, where he’d be attentive to the needs of each student. He’d challenge them, whilst ensuring they enjoyed their time in the class.

I have both worked with and been taught by Ibrahim as part of a peer-assisted learning programme in Medical School. He is a patient, committed and empathetic teacher who is particularly good at distilling complex ideas into easily understandable pieces of informations. He also helped adapt the material to different people's learning techniques using a combination of visual aids and written notes to convey information. I always felt encouraged and supported when running into difficult areas.
