About Melissa
My name is Melissa Garanton. Students call me Coach Mel or Mrs. G! Here are a few things you will find with me as your tutor:
You can be sure that I will research relevant and reliable resources for instruction so you are provided with accurate and unbiased information. I will always use learning templates, tools, and supports to differentiate instruction so you are a confident learner throughout all our lessons.
You will not be bored! Time flies in my classes because I have extensive experience using online and digital platforms to conduct lessons, post assignments and create assessments for students. One of my mottos is to "work smarter, not harder". As such, you will find that technology is always used in our lessons.
Above all else, my work in education has always been driven by the goal that all students receive equal opportunities in an unjust world, and my commitment to this pedagogy does not falter in the face of adversity or challenges.
