• 1) When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

  I've always enjoyed maths, drawn to its logic and problem-solving nature. Over time, this interest became a passion. My interest in private tutoring developed alongside it, as I found really enjoyed in helping others overcome academic challenges.

• 2) Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

  I teach maths, physics, and computer science. I'm most passionate about maths especially topics that build logically like algebra, trigonometry, and calculus. I really enjoy exploring real-world applications of topics with students.

• 3) Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  I've been lucky to learn from many great teachers over the years. Each one left something valuable, and I've tried to take the best from all of them

• 4) What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

  A good tutor needs to explain complex ideas in simple, relatable terms. You must know how to listen to a student and adapt your approach to fit their learning style. Patience is crucial, because progress takes time, and every student learns at their own pace.

• 5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  I grew up in Uzbekistan, and moving to the UK meant adapting to a completely different education system. It was challenging at first, but it taught me perseverance and the importance of being adaptable, skills I carry into my teaching today.

• 6) What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still face in your subject?

  Maths is always evolving-there's always something new to learn or a different method to understand.

• 7) Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

  Teaching is a big passion for me. I love seeing students improve, not just in terms of grades, but in how confident and independent they become. That transformation is what motivates me.

• 8) What makes you a Superprof (besides answering these interview questions :-P)?

  I care deeply about my students' progress. I bring passion, patience, and adaptability to every session. I tailor my approach to each student so they can truly understand and grow.
