About Sean
My biggest aim is to inspire students to see their own potential and nurture an intrinsic motivation that drives them forward. I am a multi-instrumentalist and producer who has spent many an hour working with many different genres from Classical, Jazz, Blues, Soul to Pop, RnB and Electronic Music. I have a solid training in Music Theory (ABRSMG5), along with Classical (G8) and Jazz Piano (G5) (all achieved with Distinction) - and also hold a Bachelor of Music (majoring in Composition and Songwriting) from Otago University in New Zealand. I've played in many bands including an Electronic Duo "ROCIO" which included opening for MØ (Lean On, Final Song) in Christchurch, NZ. I love having the opportunity to use my knowledge to help new students find their passion. In the short time I’ve been having logic and arranging lessons with Sean, i’ve improved greatly in my skills and knowledge of the programme! He has a great way of explaining technical concepts and his patient and easy-going nature make lessons enjoyable. I can fully recommend him to anyone wanting to learn logic.
Sean and I have performed together as musicians. He has an adept grasp on music theory and is a very approachable person. He is very organised with his practises of his musical craft and it shows in his professionalism. He is a hard worker and loves to teach his passions.
