About Chanel
Hi, I’m Chanel, a Psychology student at UCL with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for supporting students through the 11+ journey. I successfully passed the 11+, gaining entry into St Michael’s Catholic Grammar School and receiving an offer from Latymer, so I understand both what it takes to succeed and how the process feels from a student’s perspective.
Having gone through the exam myself not too long ago, I remember how challenging and sometimes overwhelming it can feel. This allows me to support students not only academically, but also in building confidence and reducing exam anxiety, helping them feel more comfortable and capable in their learning.
I’ve also worked with children in schools across the UK, Spain and Kenya, which has helped me develop a flexible and supportive teaching style. I adapt each lesson to the individual student, creating a safe and encouraging environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making progress.
