About Abdul

Hello! I'm Abdul Basit, a BA English graduate from the University of London and a passionate English tutor dedicated to helping students achieve their academic and personal goals. I teach learners from Grade 5 to Grade 12, as well as students preparing for O Level English, IELTS, spoken English, grammar, writing, reading comprehension, and vocabulary.

I believe English is much more than an exam subject—it's a lifelong skill that builds confidence and creates opportunities. My aim is to make learning enjoyable, practical, and personalized so that every student improves their communication skills, performs well in exams, and gains the confidence to use English effectively in everyday life.

About the lesson

Every student learns differently, which is why I personalize every lesson to match your goals, learning style, and current level. Whether you're preparing for O Level English, improving your spoken English, building grammar and writing skills, or getting ready for IELTS, I create engaging and structured lessons that make learning simple and enjoyable.

My teaching focuses on clear explanations, regular practice, constructive feedback, and real-life examples to help you gain confidence and achieve lasting improvement. I encourage questions, adapt my pace to your needs, and ensure every class is interactive, supportive, and results-oriented. My aim is not only to help you score better in exams but also to become a confident English speaker and writer.

Perfect! Learning IELTS with Sir Basit has been a truly wonderful experience. In a short time, I’ve seen a noticeable improvement in my confidence, especially in speaking. What makes him special is his patience, encouragement, and genuine dedication to his students. He doesn’t just teach; he motivates you to believe in yourself and do better. I’m genuinely grateful that I found him on Superprof, and I hope my review helps other students find the same guidance and support that I did. ️

I used to study at the University of London along with Abdul. We connected with each other through the student ambassador programme. My time with him has been most fruitful to me as he was not only a good friend but a great mentor as well. He helped me understand our concepts and always aided me in unlocking my creativity. I believe whoever gets a chance to be taught by him is a very fortunate person.

Hello,
My name is Ayeza Akhtar and I completed my IELTS under Sir Basit's provision. He not only helped me through the syllabus, but he always went the extra mile to help me complete my course. He worked hard and smart to ensure that my pathway was the easiest. Today, even years after my classes, I'm still grateful for Sir Basit's help.
