About Willow
Hi! I’m a guitar tutor with 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in World Music with a focus on Guitar Traditions. My background combines academic study with real performance across metal, shred, and progressive rock. These styles inspire my teaching. Speed and creativity matter.
Lessons focus on strong technical development. Students practice alternate picking, legato runs, sweep picking, and tapping. Each technique is taught gradually.
I enjoy teaching both young beginners and adult players. Everyone learns differently. Lessons are adjusted to fit personal goals and musical interests.
Some want to master rhythm guitar. Others want to shred fast solos. Both paths are rewarding. Music theory connects everything we practice. Students learn how scales and modes shape guitar playing.
