About Feng
As a high school student myself, I can relate to the challenges of school. As a tutor, I aim to boost students' confidence in subjects they struggle with and make learning a fun experience. Student growth is crucial to me, and I am eager to help struggling students improve. I believe that through my approachable and patient demeanor, I will be able to help students build their confidence and understanding of the subjects.

My teaching method focuses on student engagement with a good understanding of individual learning styles and building a strong foundation in core concepts. A typical lesson would look something like this: introduction of the new concepts in the lesson, core concepts of key topics with examples to make it easier to understand, practice problems throughout the lesson to make sure the student understands the new materials and clarify any questions, and finally a review of the new topics. As a high school student myself, I relate to the challenges students face and understand the curriculum firsthand. My approachable demeanor and genuine enthusiasm for the subjects will definitely make learning less intimidating and more engaging for students as I prioritize building confidence alongside academic success. My lessons are designed for elementary, middle, and high school students who need support in chemistry and math up to Algebra 2, from the basics to more detailed explanations, I am willing to tailor my lessons to meet each student's needs and goals.
