About Kai
Hi, I’m Kai! I’m an honors student with a passion for writing, poetry, and helping others succeed in English. As someone who loves creative expression, I know how frustrating it feels when writing assignments or reading comprehension don’t click right away. I’ve been there too. But I’ve also learned how to break things down in a way that makes sense. Outside of literary things, I’m also deeply into the arts. I play both guitar and clarinet, and I love drawing and exploring creativity in all forms. I’m involved in my school’s Black Student Union, where I’ve built leadership skills and found community, which I bring into my lessons as well. My goal is to make learning feel less stressful and more empowering. Like you’re gaining tools you’ll actually use. I want my students to feel comfortable, confident, and inspired by the end of each session.
