About Greta
I consider myself a lifelong learner. I believe in the beauty of learning and the doors it opens up in this world. I was born in Puerto Rico, grew up in the US, and lived in Italy for three years. I am married to an Italian citizen and their culture is a big part of our lives. I love working with others to help them reach their learning goals and there is nothing more satisfying than seeing my students have that 'aha' moment and succeed. My husband, pup, and I love to travel. I previously worked with International players in the New York Yankees organization teaching them English and life skills for almost 8 years. Unfortunately, my husband received the opportunity of a lifetime and we have moved to another state, but I would love to continue passionately helping others learn.

In my last 12 years of teaching experience, I have provided private tutoring in English, Spanish, Italian, and various subjects for students in middle and high school. I believe in guiding students through materials chosen for their specific learning needs and using a variety of techniques to ensure the content is fully understood and grasped. I believe in making lessons fun, smiling a lot, and encouraging students so they feel supported. I work with students of all levels of language, whether you or your child needs help with AP Spanish or are taking a trip to Italy and would like to learn some basics, I can help!
