About Charlotte
Hi! I’m a 22-year-old Malaysian law student with over 3 years of online tutoring experience. I specialize in teaching English, Bahasa Malaysia and History to primary and secondary students, including exam preparation.

I focus on creating a supportive and structured learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating. My teaching approach is student-centered. I adapt my methods based on each student’s learning pace, strengths, and areas that need improvement.
In my classes, I use a combination of explanation, guided practice, and active recall techniques to help students truly understand concepts instead of just memorizing them. For language subjects like English and Bahasa Malaysia, I emphasize grammar foundations, writing skills, and comprehension through past-year questions, and interactive exercises.
A typical lesson lasts between 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s level and needs. Each session usually includes a short review of previous material, introduction of new topics, practice exercises, and feedback to track progress.
I have been teaching online since I was 18, with 3–4 years of tutoring experience, working with students from different backgrounds and proficiency levels. Currently, I am a Year 2 Malaysian law degree student, which has further strengthened my analytical thinking, communication skills, and ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary school students, including those preparing for major exams such as SPM, as well as students who simply want to improve their language skills and confidence.
Overall, my goal is not just to help students score better, but to build their confidence, independence, and long-term understanding of the subject.
