About William

Having graduated from the International Baccalaureate, scoring 45 points (placing in the top 0.025% in the world), I continued to study Chemical Engineering at the University of Cambridge, graduating with a First Class Masters in 2017. I have taught students online and face-to-face, both privately and in groups for the last 6 years!

My teaching style is very simple. Building from the very foundations of the subject, I think ALL students, with the right teacher, can fully comprehend even the hardest of ideas. Having taught so many students, there are few problems or questions I haven't heard before, meaning I'm ready to help clarify any areas of difficulty! Following this, developing a clear method to approach problems to eliminate exam nerves and guarantee that you get the mark you deserve on each question. This process has been shown to work - I have students who have improved by as much as 4 grades over the year I have been working with them!

I am happy to help with both exam preparation/syllabus learning and Coursework tasks. Using my experience of Chemical Engineering and its plethora of applicable and successful experiments has allowed my students to write high-marking pieces of work. I also offer a proof-reading service, where you will get a complete proof-read, correcting any mistakes as well as grammar and structure.

On top of my teaching, I have also worked alongside Online Education resources as both a content creator and editor. Working with examiners to create assessment and revision material has allowed me to further refine my methods, as I have ascertained a thorough understanding of the assessment styles of different levels of my subjects.

Having recently returned to Cambridge, I am currently fully flexible with regards to teaching (apart from Monday and Wednesday evenings, when you can find me practicing Latin dancing!). I enjoy teaching both online and in person and combine technologies to ensure that online lessons still have the same engaging experience and good quality notes produced!

During the months we worked together he skillfully managed to find the level I was at in math, the subject areas that needed improvement and managed to make me feel confident in each of the subject areas.
