Our child was interested in entering a preferred performance program available in our school system. Joe Salzberg was recommended as a tutor. We were fortunate that Joe said he would work with our student. Our student's ability improved and confidence grew. Joe was wise with selecting the pieces to best showcase our student's abilities. Goal achieved! Joe is also a terrific human being. Very caring of our full family as we supported our child's musical dream.

Joe is an exceptional teacher. I was continually amazed at how well prepared Joe was for each lesson. He had obviously given a lot of thought into how to fully engage our son in his lesson with a great combination of affirming encouragement and just the right amount of challenge. Joe has a wonderfully positive demeanor which builds confidence and inspires the student to want to improve.

Joseph is excellent teacher. He guided my daughter through middle school orchestra and prepared her for her audition to Colgan High School’s performing arts program. He set a good musical foundation for her to be selected for the regional orchestra for multiple years. I would highly recommend him as a teacher.

Words can not describe how wonderful a cello instructor Joseph is! I searched around for a few months before finding him, and I learned more from him in 3 classes than I did with months of other instructors. I had no prior knowledge of the instrument before hand, and was already intimidated by the thought of starting. In just a few lessons, I felt more confident in, and it has only been uphill from that day on! He makes learning fun and easy for beginners and can add something new to seasoned players as well. Do your skills a favor by learning with him!
