About Chloe

With a background in both education and professional project management and coaching, I am passionate about helping students achieve their language learning goals. My teaching experience spans diverse cultures, and I bring a personalized, student-centered approach to every lesson. Whether it’s preparing for a language exam, improving business communication, or mastering conversational fluency, I design lessons to meet the specific needs of each learner.

I believe in creating an engaging and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to participate, make mistakes, and grow. My goal is to make learning English enjoyable and relevant, ensuring that students can apply what they learn in real-life situations.

I look forward to helping you on your language journey!

About the lesson

As a passionate and dedicated educator, my teaching method focuses on an interactive, student-centered approach that fosters engagement, curiosity, and a deep understanding of the subject matter. I employ a mix of techniques, including communicative language teaching (CLT), task-based learning (TBL), and real-life simulations, allowing students to apply language skills in practical contexts. My classes are structured to promote active participation, ensuring that students practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing in every lesson.

Teaching Method and Techniques

• Interactive Lessons: I emphasize interactive learning where students take an active role in discussions, dialogues, and activities.
• Customizable Approach: I tailor lessons to individual learning styles and goals, whether students are visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learners.
• Use of Authentic Materials: My lessons incorporate real-world resources such as videos, articles, and podcasts to make learning relevant and engaging.
• Positive Reinforcement: I encourage students by recognizing progress and achievements, building their confidence.

A Typical Lesson Plan

1. Warm-up Activity: A short exercise to review previous lessons or introduce the day’s topic (5-10 minutes).
2. Main Lesson: Focused on a key skill (speaking, listening, reading, or writing) with tasks like role-playing or group discussions (30-40 minutes).
3. Application Exercise: Students practice the lesson content in a real-life scenario or through exercises (15-20 minutes).
4. Review and Feedback: I provide feedback on performance, highlight strengths, and suggest areas for improvement (10 minutes).
5. Homework: Assignments are given to reinforce the lesson and prepare for the next class.

What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor

• Cultural Awareness: Living and teaching in diverse countries has given me insight into different cultural perspectives, making my lessons more inclusive and globally minded.
• Adaptability: I adjust my teaching methods to meet the specific needs and goals of each student, whether they are beginners or advanced learners.
• Engaging and Fun Lessons: I ensure that lessons are enjoyable, as I believe that learning is most effective when students are engaged and excited about the content.
• Personalized Feedback: I offer detailed, constructive feedback after every session, helping students track their progress.

Who the Lessons Are For

• English Learners of All Levels: Whether you are a beginner or an advanced student, I design lessons to meet your language proficiency.
• Adults and Young Adults: My classes are suited for college students, professionals, or anyone looking to improve their English for academic, professional, or personal reasons.
