About Clare
I’m a dedicated sports science tutor with a strong academic background and hands-on experience as a fitness professional. My work in the fitness industry allows me to bring real-world insight into how the body performs, recovers, and improves, which I use to make lessons more practical and engaging.
I’m passionate about helping students build confidence in their understanding and achieve their academic goals. I take pride in being reliable, patient, and approachable, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress.

I take a structured but flexible approach to tutoring, adapting each lesson to the student’s level, goals, and learning style. I focus on breaking down complex topics like physiology and biomechanics into clear, simple explanations, then reinforce understanding through exam-style questions and real sporting examples.
My teaching combines active recall, regular mini-tests, and past paper practice to build confidence and improve exam technique. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, though longer sessions can be arranged if needed.
