About Ziyannjs
Hi! I’m Ziyan! — a student who actually loves math (even though most people think that’s weird ). I’ve always enjoyed learning, especially when it comes to science and numbers, and I love helping others understand things in a way that finally makes sense. I’ve tutored over 50 students, and every time I explain something and see that “ohhh, now I get it” moment, it makes me so happy. That’s why I want to teach — to make learning feel less scary and way more fun! Outside of tutoring, you can usually find me rollerblading (yes, even indoors sometimes ), researching random science facts at 2 AM, or riding horses when I get the chance. I’m friendly, patient, and always up for a challenge — whether it's solving a tricky algebra problem or explaining why atoms aren’t just “tiny circles.” If you’re looking for someone who’s passionate, helpful, and just a little bit nerdy (in the best way), I’m your tutor!

I focus on making science and math clear, engaging, and easy to understand. I use real-life examples, visuals, interactive exercises, and step-by-step explanations to help students truly grasp the concepts—not just memorize them. I also use active recall, spaced repetition, and problem-solving practice to reinforce learning and boost long-term memory. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to match their style—whether that means using diagrams, real-world scenarios, hands-on practice, or breaking things down slowly and clearly. My goal is always to make lessons fun, focused, and confidence-building.
Each lesson usually lasts up to 2 hours, giving us plenty of time to go over topics, practice problems, and ask questions without feeling rushed. I’ve tutored over 50 students at home, and I specialize in helping students from grades 5 to 9 in Biology, Algebra, Math, Chemistry, and Physics.
My goal is always to build confidence, boost grades, and make learning enjoyable—not stressful.
