About Isabella
After moving to France as a teenager, my first teaching experiences came from helping French friends and neighbours learn and improve their English. That passion for communication grew as I later began teaching French, and I realised teaching was my true passion after volunteering in a school abroad.
I believe education opens doors to new opportunities, confidence, and personal growth. My love of learning languages has allowed me to experience different cultures and discover more of the world, which inspires me to help others expand their knowledge, skills, and understanding in the same way.
I am also passionate about teaching reading, as it opens up new worlds and allows people to travel, experience life, and explore through the imagination and stories of others.

As an experienced and qualified tutor with over 10 years of teaching in schools, learning centres, and online, my passion is helping children build confidence, develop strong foundations, and discover a genuine love for learning. I hold a Business Degree, a PGCE, and a TEFL qualification, and I am fluent in both English and French.
While reading and literacy are at the heart of my teaching, I also support students in other core subjects such as maths, English, and science. My lessons are tailored to each child’s individual needs, learning style, and pace, ensuring they feel supported, challenged, and motivated.
I focus on creating engaging, positive lessons that strengthen key skills, encourage critical thinking, and help children grow in both ability and confidence.
Lessons typically last 30–60 minutes and are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults of all levels, from early learners to more advanced students.
