About Agatha
A good teacher inspires and reaches the heart of a child thus bringing out the best in children.I have been a teacher for over six years now,striving to mould the minds of the next generation.Teaching is a profession I am passionate about.As a teacher,I believe everyone has a unique learning style.One size does not fit all.In view of this,I plan English lessons to suit the needs of different learners.I inculcate visuals,hands on and game based learning. I focus on a multisensory approach which involves a teaching style that concentrates on the sense of touch,hearing and sight thus enabling different pathways to the brain.Lessons will be conducted with the aid of visuals,motion pictures,sounds and hands on activities.Lessons will also be reinforced and reviews will be done to ensure the pupils absorb and understand contents being taught.Pupils will also be given the opportunity to practise what they have learnt.I have attended several trainings which have helped me stay abreast with latest trends in the educational sector.As a life long learner,I continually carry out research,attend trainings and participate in seminars to enrich my knowledge and practise.
My goal is to ensure pupils learn and apply what they have learnt.
