About Averie
I am a violin tutor with over 6 years of experience helping students develop both skill and musical connection. I hold a BM in Music Education in Orchestral Strings – Violin. My teaching is built around collaboration.
I have led youth orchestras, string ensembles, and group violin classes. These experiences help students learn how to listen and play together. Ensemble playing is a shared effort.
Through chamber music coaching, I focus on blend, balance, and communication. Students develop skills in section leading, tuning, and ensemble awareness. These are essential for group success.
I have worked with schools, community centers, and chamber groups, creating engaging learning environments.
Music is best experienced together. I aim to help students find joy and growth through ensemble performance.

My approach to violin teaching is centered on building confidence alongside strong technique. Playing with ease comes from good preparation.
We work on posture, tone, and intonation to create a strong foundation. These skills support long-term growth.
Performance anxiety is addressed with simple tools that help you stay calm. We also focus on stage presence and communication with the audience. Memorization helps improve performance security.
I guide students through preparing for recitals and competitions with care and structure. Let’s build performances that feel natural and confident.
