About Francisca
I am a Portuguese violinist, currently living in London. I have studied in Portugal and in Germany, before I moved here. I have a very enthusiastic personality, as I am sure you would notice from the first moment. I love teaching since I was a little kid, nothing makes me happier than watching the development of my students.

I adapt as quickly as possible to the characteristics, goals and age of each of my students. My priority is to motivate them and make them enjoy playing. I did my master's degree in teaching in Portugal where I improved my tecniques (on both right and left hands). During the lessons, my attitude is relaxed and fun, but can be more demanding if I think it appropriate in order to help achieving my student's goals.
Complementing my passion for teaching, I love kids, which helps me creating a very good and fast relationships with them, that usually helps during the lessons.

I know Francisca from when she studied in Germany over some musician friends. She was teaching my nephews how to play violin. They are 8 and 9 and they both played for 2 years but especially because of Covid they stopped playing because they did not really like it anymore.
But their parents wanted them to play and I recommended Francisca. Because she is so lovely they really started to like playing with her, because she just brings this love of playing violin to the children. They still ask for her because they do not like their new teacher as much as they liked her. So I can really recommend her especially for children but I guess she can transport the passion of music to anyone!View more recommendations
