About Tima
I turn simple yarn into something meaningful, teaching crochet in a calm, patient, and supportive way that helps beginners feel confident from the very start. I have a steady, detail-focused approach, noticing small mistakes and guiding students gently until everything clicks. My teaching style is relaxed but structured, making sure each lesson feels clear, achievable, and encouraging rather than overwhelming. I naturally slow things down when needed, giving students space to understand, practise, and grow at their own pace. I enjoy helping people move from “I can’t do this” to actually seeing what they’re capable of, one stitch at a time.

I keep lessons simple, structured, and very hands-on so students actually do the crochet instead of just listening and nodding like it makes sense. I break everything down into small steps, demonstrate slowly, then guide students while they practise so nothing feels overwhelming or “lost in yarn chaos.”
Each lesson usually lasts around 45–60 minutes, giving enough time to learn a new stitch or technique and complete a small practice piece or project. I adjust the pace depending on the student, because not everyone’s hands want to cooperate at the same speed.
I’ve developed my crochet skills through consistent practice, personal projects, and helping beginners learn informally, which taught me how to explain things in a clear, beginner-friendly way (and also how easily yarn can betray you).
My lessons are for complete beginners to intermediate learners, typically ages teens and up, who want to learn crochet from scratch or improve their skills in a relaxed, supportive environment.
