Rosanne worked with two of my children. Her techniques helped my then 5th grader to quickly get up to grade level and gain confidence in his abilities. She also worked with my then 8 year old who was not reading at all. Rosanne worked with two of my 3 children who had reading struggles (Dyslexia and ADD) during elementary school. My son was really struggling with readin by 3rd grade and we had difficulty getting anyone to accurately access him because he would shut down with unknown adults.
Rosanne was patient and built a rapport with him in order to access his needs.
Using the Academic Associates program, which is an Orton-Gillingham based phonics program with extra sections & techniques that address processing disorders and create new pathways in the brain, she was able to assist him in developing his reading skills. I highly recommend Rosanne because of her knowledge of how to help students and her ability to connect with students.

I have triplets who were born prematurely, and another child 17 months younger. The triplets have some minor learning differences, and the younger child is a completely typical learner. We suspected early on that two of the triplets could be dyslexic. Rosanne evaluated them and helped us determine a path to get them the help they needed (which turned out to be vision issues). After we got that worked out, she taught all four kids to read.
Rosanne has the patience of a saint, and it takes one to listen to a kid sound out CCCCCAAAAATTT for the 400th time when they just saw that word two words ago and don't remember it! She worked with all four kids individually, and some had slightly longer lessons and some slightly shorter so she could keep them at the same place, simplifying my life and keeping the kids from competing. (I would never have thought about that ahead of time, but she just seems to think of al those kinds of things!)
All four kids came away with an extremely strong phonics background, and all are excellent readers because of it. They are now high school seniors and a junior, and all have excellent standardized test scores in reading, and more importantly, they ENJOY reading because they are good at it.
Best money I ever spent was hiring Rosanne to teach my kids to read!

My had several struggles, including ADHD, being on the spectrum and reading issues. Roseanne worked with him and got him reading much better, and worked with his dyslexia. He now is 21 years old, employed and reads well. He actually buys books and has a great working vocabulary. Night and day from where we started!

Roseanne has tutored both my girls that have dyslexia and ADHD. She helped them excel in english and in reading. Roseanne is truly a great person and will do whatever she can to help. The teaching methods she uses are on point and key for success. My children still use skills they learned from Roseanne after they have completed their tutoring program with her.
