About Harper
I am a professional Flute tutor with more than 7 years of teaching experience. I teach students from School level to College and working professionals who want to improve their flute skills step by step.
My teaching approach is student-centred and well-organised. I guide students in breathing techniques, posture correction, finger accuracy, tone clarity, rhythm precision, and musical expression. Each lesson is adjusted to match the student’s learning pace.
Along with flute lessons, I teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm exercises, scale practice, ear training, and basic performance skills. I also help students prepare for exams and auditions.
My strength is explaining musical ideas in a simple and practical way. I provide clear practice routines, regular feedback, and continuous support. My aim is to help students grow with confidence.

My teaching approach for flute is based on communication, creativity, and flexible learning to help students grow with confidence and enjoyment. I explain flute techniques clearly and encourage students to interact and ask questions during lessons. Creative warm-ups, musical exercises, and expressive playing activities are used to make lessons interesting and engaging.
Lesson plans are adapted according to each student’s progress, learning style, and goals. I focus on strong fundamentals while encouraging musical expression and steady improvement. Flute lessons cover breathing techniques, posture, embouchure, finger coordination, articulation, scales, rhythm, and sight reading.
Along with flute, I teach supporting subjects such as music theory, note reading, rhythm training, ear training, and performance skills to help students become well-rounded musicians.
