About John
Hello! My name`s John. I`m a professional songwriter, musician and music producer with a Masters Degree in Songwriting currently looking for new students!
I primarily teach acoustic guitar but also offer lessons in songwriting, music production and music theory.
As a former student I understand how important it is that lessons are not only challenging and informative but also fun and inspiring! For this reason, lessons will always be tailored to suit your own personal ambitions and interests. Whether you`re a complete beginner just starting out or have some experience and wish to take your playing to the next level - perhaps you`d like to progress through the acoustic guitar grades? I am more than happy to help you achieve your goals!
I have completed both a BA hons. Degree and Masters Degree in Songwriting at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance. I also hold a Diploma in Guitar and have 15 years experience of performing live and collaborating on many musical projects.
For the past three years I have been writing songs for film/television and have more recently begun tutoring acoustic guitar and songwriting workshops!
