About CJ
I take tutoring seriously and aim to create a respectful, focused learning environment for every student I work with. I am organized, prepared for each session, and committed to helping students understand their schoolwork rather than just giving answers. My goal is to support students as they improve their writing, reading comprehension, and confidence in English over time. I communicate clearly, stay patient when explaining concepts, and always encourage students to ask questions so they feel comfortable learning and improving their skills.

My name is CJ, and I am a 14-year-old Grade 9 student who is responsible, patient, and motivated to help others learn. I enjoy reading and writing, and I like helping people understand English assignments, improve their grammar, and organize their ideas clearly in their writing. I am a good listener, which helps me understand what a student may be struggling with so I can explain in a way that makes sense to them. Through school and involvement in the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, I have developed strong communication, discipline, and teamwork skills that help me stay focused and supportive when helping others learn. I would work hard to help students build confidence in their English and writing skills while creating a positive and encouraging learning environment.
