About Lauren
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Instrumental Music Education and have more than 7 years of experience teaching violin online.
Earlier in my career, I worked with Evergreen Youth Orchestra Academy, Minnesota, helping beginner students prepare for orchestra participation and school performances.
I later joined Silver Lake Music Conservatory Prep Program, where I supported younger learners developing violin foundations and confidence.
I received a Youth Strings Education Award for creating encouraging learning environments for beginner musicians.
Teaching violin has taught me that patience changes everything. Many students begin feeling discouraged, but with support and consistency, they gradually become confident and expressive performers.
I currently teach students internationally through live online lessons and truly enjoy helping beginners of all ages discover confidence through music.

I teach violin lessons for beginners wanting supportive instruction while learning posture, bow control, rhythm, finger placement, musical expression, and confidence.
Students may also explore beginner viola and cello fundamentals depending on interests.
I understand string instruments can feel difficult initially, so my lessons focus heavily on encouragement and gradual improvement.
My teaching style is patient because confidence matters just as much as technique.
