About Joseph
I'm a senior at Michigan State University studying mathematics and business communications. I scored a perfect math SAT score and graduated from Utica Academy of International Studies with a 4.12 GPA. I have a deep and profound knowledge of how people think and learn, which has benefited my students greatly in the advancement of their academic careers. I believe in a very personalized teaching plan that caters to each of my students individually. We will start out with discussing the areas that you need improving on, what your goals are, and what's the best way that you learn. From there I will structure a lesson plan that's perfect for YOU!
This covers all k-12 math and I specialize in SAT math as I scored a perfect math SAT score.
Learning is a science, and a very interesting one at that. From my studies and experience, the best way for someone to truly learn something is by getting them invested in the topic and allowing them to fully understand why things are the way they are, and then giving them proper repetitions to solidify the knowledge. I am an expert at being able to do that for my students.
On top of learning a subject or topic, I also specialize in the skill of taking a test. This is crucial for the SAT and all other math tests. Because what most people don't know is that a lot of the time there are secret ways that allow you to either skip steps or even completely not have to do any difficult math at all if you know the tricks. This allows you to save time on those questions and be able to spend more time on the tough questions. I've always been very good at doing this, and I would love to share these secrets with you too!
