About Rachel
With 6 years of experience teaching Physics, I help students from K–12 to College 1st Year strengthen their knowledge, improve problem-solving abilities, and approach academic challenges with greater confidence. My experience has taught me that effective tutoring begins with understanding how each student learns best.
I focus on making physics accessible by presenting difficult material in a structured and straightforward way. Whether a learner is struggling with basic principles or preparing for more demanding college-level topics, I adapt the lesson according to their current understanding and objectives.
My areas of teaching include kinematics, dynamics, Newton's laws, gravitation, work and energy, momentum, rotational motion, electricity, circuits, magnetism, waves, optics, heat, and modern physics. I combine conceptual explanations with worked examples and targeted practice to help students develop both accuracy and independent reasoning.
Beyond academics, I encourage curiosity and confidence. Students are welcome to ask questions, revisit challenging ideas, and learn at a comfortable pace. I believe mistakes are an important part of learning, and I use them as opportunities to build stronger understanding.

I offer personalised physics lessons for learners from K–12 through College 1st Year, with each class tailored to the student's individual needs. My approach focuses on understanding rather than rote learning, so students can confidently use their knowledge in unfamiliar problems.
Classes cover essential areas including kinematics, dynamics, gravitation, momentum, work and energy, circular motion, electricity, magnetism, waves, sound, optics, heat, and introductory modern physics. I break complicated theories into smaller, logical sections and connect mathematical ideas with real-world situations.
During lessons, students receive clear explanations followed by guided examples and independent practice. I use questions and discussions to identify weak areas and gradually build stronger reasoning skills. For students preparing for examinations, lessons can also include revision strategies, timed questions, application of formulas, and practice with common problem types.
My teaching environment is supportive and interactive. Students are encouraged to make mistakes, ask questions, and explore ideas without hesitation. Whether you are starting from the basics or working through advanced school and introductory college topics, each lesson is structured to help you progress steadily and develop genuine confidence in physics.
