As a tutor, I, Dr. Ramya, focus on building a strong conceptual foundation through a learner-centered approach. I combine theoretical clarity with practical application, using real research examples and hands-on training with tools like VMD, Chimera and AUTODOCK to make complex topics accessible.
Each lesson typically begins with a brief recap, followed by an in-depth exploration of the topic using visual aids, simulations, and interactive discussions. Sessions end with key takeaways, resources for self-study, and personalized tasks or mini-projects to reinforce learning.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect advanced computational biology concepts with real-world problems. With over 18 years of academic and research experience, I bring both depth and relevance to my teaching, ensuring students gain not just knowledge but confidence in applying it.
My lessons are ideal for undergraduate and postgraduate students in bioinformatics, biophysics, biotechnology, and related fields, as well as early-career researchers or professionals seeking to strengthen their computational biology skills or research methodology.
