As a Petroleum Geoscientist with an MSc. degree and seven years of experience in the oil and gas industry, I bring a unique blend of practical knowledge and academic expertise to my tutoring sessions. My approach as a tutor is centered on fostering a deep understanding of physics concepts while ensuring that learning is engaging and relevant.
Teaching Methodology and Techniques

I employ a personalized teaching methodology tailored to meet the individual needs of my students. Through interactive discussions and practical examples, I aim to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world applications, especially from my experiences in geoscience. I incorporate visual aids, simulations, and problem-solving exercises to enhance understanding and retention.
Typical Lesson Plan

A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previously covered material, followed by a focused introduction to new concepts. We explore these concepts through guided practice, using real-life examples from the oil and gas sector to illustrate their relevance. I allocate time for hands-on exercises and encourage students to ask questions, fostering an open dialogue. Each lesson concludes with a summary and a set of practice problems to reinforce learning.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor

What sets me apart is my unique perspective gained from working in the field of petroleum geoscience. I understand the importance of physics in practical applications, allowing me to provide insights that link classroom learning to industry practices. My experience in data management further allows me to teach students how to analyze and interpret data effectively, an essential skill in both academia and the workforce.
Who the Lessons Are For

My lessons are designed for high school students, university undergraduates, and anyone preparing for physics exams or pursuing a degree in the sciences. I also welcome those with specific interests or goals, such as preparing for physics competitions or enhancing their understanding for related fields in geoscience and engineering.
Through my tutoring, I aim to inspire a passion for physics while equipping students with the skills they need to succeed academically and professionally.
