About Kayla
Hi there! My name is Kayla and I am a PharmD student at the University of Rhode Island in my fifth year out of six total (i.e. a P3 student). I have over five years of experience tutoring subjects in the realm of biology and am an incoming pharmacy tutor at my school!

I love when students are engaged in tutoring sessions. I like to use the whiteboard to go over material, make use of models or visuals grabbed off the internet, and frequently ask my students questions to cement their understanding of the content. I often create and share Google Drive folders with resources for students so that they have something to reference when we aren't meeting. I have years of experience tutoring in both one-on-one and group settings, proving that I know how to cater my strategies to suit every student's individual needs. I am able to tutor students in PharmD programs or similar healthcare programs that are taking pharmacology or therapeutics courses. If you request a session, please just let me know what topics you are learning so I can make sure I have covered that in my curriculum thus far!
