About Elahe
Welcome! I’m Elahe, a passionate and experienced educator with a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and a strong foundation in chemistry.
With more than 10 years of experience in both research and teaching, I specialize in making chemistry clear, relatable, and engaging for students at all levels. From foundational topics like atomic structure and stoichiometry to advanced areas such as organic chemistry and biochemistry, I’m here to help you master the subject with confidence.
My background in biomedical engineering gives me a unique, real-world perspective on how chemistry applies in modern science and technology. I have experience of teaching in the university for 10 years in different fields like general chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biomaterials, physical chemistry and chemistry of water. I use my knowledge to bring lessons to life, showing students not just what to learn, but why it matters.
As a tutor, I focus on building strong understanding, boosting problem-solving skills, and tailoring lessons to each student’s goals and pace. Whether you're preparing for exams, catching up, or aiming to deepen your knowledge, I’m committed to supporting your success

Teaching Methodology and Techniques:
I focus on a student-centered approach, emphasizing active learning and critical thinking. I tailor each session to the student's individual needs, using real-world examples, interactive discussions, and problem-solving exercises to make complex concepts more accessible and engaging. I also encourage questions and promote an open, collaborative learning environment to build confidence and foster deeper understanding.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
1. Introduction (5-10 minutes): Brief review of the previous lesson and outline of today's objectives.
2. Core Content (20-30 minutes): Interactive explanation of new concepts, incorporating visuals, demonstrations, or practical examples.
3. Practice (15-20 minutes): Guided exercises and problem-solving activities to reinforce understanding.
4. Q&A and Discussion (10-15 minutes): Open floor for questions, clarifications, and discussion to address any areas of confusion.
5. Summary and Homework (5-10 minutes): Recap of key points and assignment of practice tasks for independent learning.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor:
With a PhD in Engineering and extensive teaching experience, I combine a deep knowledge of the subject matter with proven pedagogical techniques. My unique approach lies in simplifying complex ideas into understandable terms and adapting my style to each student's learning preferences. I am passionate about making learning engaging and motivating students to achieve their full potential.
MWho the Lessons Are For:
My lessons are designed for undergraduate and graduate students in engineering and related fields. They are ideal for those needing support in core engineering subjects, such as mathematics, chemistry , or specialized topics like biomedical engineering. I also welcome high school students preparing for college-level courses or competitive exams.
