About Desiree
I have taught writing to university students in classrooms and private tutorials for twenty years. I have worked with international students as a private tutor and in institutes for twenty years. I have worked with hundreds of students. I have worked with many US students who had tried for years to learn to write well, and helped them to solve their writing issues where others had failed. I have coached international students through the writing portion of their English proficiency tests, helped them to prepare for graduate school, and coached them through graduate school. I am a caring and dedicated teacher. I do every thing I can to help my students find their success.

I am a writing coach with twenty years of experience at the university level. I have worked extensively with undergraduate and graduate students. I, also, have a great deal of experience with international students. I have PhD in Communications from the University of Illinois in Champaign. I am a careful teacher and I can work with students, who have many different kinds of writing issues. I teach people to be confident and reliable writers through a process of writing and revision. I teach people how to express their message through writing, with a process of clarifying their thinking. I am kind and patient.
