About Sepehr
I am a PhD candidate from Bocconi Business School. I teach courses at the university and I have also been Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant for many courses. Therefore, I have been involved with the process of designing, preparing and delivering teaching materials. My close relationship with students has helped me understand the real needs of students.

This is how I will help you prepare for the data-driven world by helping you understand the fundamentals of statistics (all degrees and levels). We discuss the topics first and for each topic we go though the following steps:
1. Statistics is always about answering research questions. Therefore, for each topic we start with an engaging presentation about a practical and real world problem which I encountered during my research for answering a research question. Next, I will discuss how the topic of the session helped me in answering that research question. I believe in statistics it is very helpful to understand the real problem each method/concept solves first and then dive in to the abstract concepts. This will both motivate you to understand the real value of the concept and gives you the big picture so that you wont get lost once dealing with the details later.
2. Next, I will discuss the fundamentals of the core topic of the session in details.
3. Finally, we work on some practice questions that can be important both for learning the topic and helping you in exams.
