About Ali
- I’m a PhD student in Linguistics at UMass. My main areas of interest in linguistics are phonology and morphology with a secondary interest in the syntax.
- I completed my master’s program at Memorial University of Newfoundland.
- As for my work experience, I worked as a teaching assistant for several undegraduate linguistics courses during my graduate studies.
- I also took the Teaching Skills Enhancement Program at Memorial University where I had the chance to teach a linguistics course.
- I have also been a tutor for more than 3 years, offering online sessions in different areas of linguistics to undergraduate students of linguistics.

I teach linguistics to undergraduate/graduate students. Some sub-fields that I can help you with are: Phonetics/phonology, Morphology, Syntax, Semantics, Pragmatics among others. I can help you with your assignments, projects, research and exams.
