About Martin
I have a PhD degree in Mathematics and a B.Sc. in Computer Science by the University of Karlsruhe in Germany.
My specialization lies in Algebra, Number Theory and Representation Theory. However I also possess vast experience teaching (under)graduate courses spanning Analysis (Calculus), Functional Analysis, Topology (top.groups), Algorithms, Theoretical Informatics (e.g. Formal systems, Turing machines, etc..).

I offer my courses only on-line. I speak german, spanish and portuguese among others, if you have difficulties with english.

Dear student,
my teaching plan is straight-forward. Before starting, I will need a few information about you.
First I need to know your goals (e.g. preparation for an exam).
Next, I will need your (digital) materials (e.g. lecture notes, exercise sheets).
I also need to get an idea about your skills in the particular subject; this means I need to know what you (don't) know.
Optionally, I will ask about a little more about your person (e.g. interests, time invested into studying).
I teach on-line and use a digital board for writing. This is great in combination with the digital materials I will ask you for in advance.
After the class I send you the content of the class in a PDF file.
I preferably teach university students, but high school students are ok as well.
