About Gregg
I'm Gregg, a UBC-trained researcher and university instructor with a PhD in Neuromechanics and seven years of teaching experience at UBC and Capilano University. I've designed and taught full physiology and neuroscience courses — so I understand exactly where students get lost and how to get them unstuck.
My tutoring style is direct and conversational. I ask questions, find the gap, and rebuild from there. I don't believe in just handing you answers. I want you to actually understand the material, which makes exams a lot less stressful.
Whether you're in Kinesiology, Nursing, Biology, or a pre-med program, I'm here to help you build genuine confidence in the content.

My approach to teaching focuses on interactive learning and discussion. Starting from the fundamentals we will build our way to complex understanding without the need for rote memorization. I tailor my approach to every student, and am happy to work with students at any level. I can help you prepare for standardized exams that involve physiology (i.e. MCAT) or for courses in either high school or university.
