In simple terms, edge computing means bringing smart technology closer to where data is collected — like phones, cameras, or sensors — instead of always relying on distant cloud servers. This makes things faster, more secure, and more efficient. My research helps make AI models smaller and smarter, so they can run even on tiny devices — without needing constant internet. What excites me most is how this technology can be used in healthcare, education, the environment, and everyday life.
