About Souranil
I am a former Guest Lecturer at the PG Department of English at Wilson College (Autonomous), University of Mumbai, and presently a PhD research scholar at the Department of Phonetics and Spoken English, School of Language Sciences, The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, with an MA in Linguistics (A+) from EFLU/CIEFL and a First Class Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in English from St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), University of Calcutta, having scored 95.25% in my ISC (Class 12 board examinations) from the Arts Stream.

I believe in enabling students to think independently. I don't believe in giving notes to students for them to mug them up. I explain the concepts thoroughly and make them write their own answers, evaluating them and pointing where they have gone wrong. The aim is to eventually make the student confident in writing syntactically and semantically sound answers, and read a literary text independently so that they can appreciate the subject and consequently, score better.

Ever ready to help you whenever you need help with academic stuff. Has knowledge regarding vast spheres of life and is always eager to learn more and expand his knowledge regarding various things going around in the world. Can explain things in a simple and easy manner and an amazingly student friendly person.
