About Oliver

I discovered my passion for teaching during my high school years while boarding in South Africa. Witnessing many of my dormmates struggling with Mathematics, I dedicated countless hours to help them overcome their challenges. This journey led me to organise full-day tutoring sessions for my entire boarding group. Standing in front of the class, I would work through problems on the whiteboard, offering explanations and responding to the myriad questions that arose. Following high school, I continued my journey as a private tutor, visiting students in the comfort of their homes. Throughout these experiences, I not only fostered a love for teaching but also formed lasting friendships with my tutees. It was heartwarming to be invited to several birthday parties in the years that followed their graduation. These experiences have ignited my dedication to teaching and have prepared me to inspire and support students on their own educational journeys.

Oliver's response
Ryan was a great joy to teach. He very calmly explained the things he understood and did not as we meticulously made our way through the content. He is very sharp and attentive.

Oliver's response
Caroline and her daughter Eve are perfect Superprof users. Caroline was quick to respond, accommodating of availability, and very hospitable when I was in their home for the session. Eve is engaged and easy to tutor, not scared to try new things, and open with her strengths and weaknesses, making my job far easier to do well.

Olly, Oliver has been amazing to me over the past few years. Although he’s moved to England UK to complete his studies, he’s helped me extraordinarily with my studies. He’s insanely great at his Math and Science and can spot things i never even knew were possible, i addition to his remarkably smart mind, he’s been such a great mentor and friend, very open and understanding to conversation. Olly also took me under his wing and brought me into his friend group, to meet new people and create unforgettable memories. No matter our age gap (8 years) he’s always been there and i have so much love for him. He’s been unreal to me and i cannot wait for his return to South Africa!
