About Zephyr
I have taught ESL to migrants in a classroom setting and have taught Spanish as a volunteer at a community center in Arizona. I am passionate about learning languages as a cornerstone of communication and understanding across cultural backgrounds. Although I am currently working towards a doctoral degree in Sustainability Education at Prescott College, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology, which I pursued out of a love of learning from and connecting with people across diverse perspectives.

My approach always depends on the student's needs and learning style. For example, I have taught Spanish in the form of an RPG in which learners used Spanish vocabulary to build their own character and I often incorporate other simulations to make lessons relevant to student's lives. I have experience teaching high schoolers, college students, and older adults.
